عملت جانيس ألين في المدارس الثانوية في جميع أنحاء مانشستر وسالفورد وروتشديل لمدة 25 عامًا، وكانت مديرة مدرسة ثانوية كبيرة في روتشديل حتى عام 2023.
منذ تركها التعليم النظامي، عملت جانيس في دعم التعليم في مراكز احتجاز الأحداث، وبرامج التعليم البديل، ووحدات تحويل الطلاب. وهي تعمل كمقاول لدى مؤسسة "الحق في النجاح" الخيرية في روتشديل ومنطقة مدينة ليفربول، كما تعمل حاليًا كمستشارة في مجالات هامة في التعليم، بما في ذلك العنف ضد النساء والفتيات، والمساواة العرقية، وحقوق الإنسان في منطقة مانشستر الكبرى وعلى الصعيد الوطني.
جانيس عضو في مجلس أمناء مؤسسة "إيرلي بريك"، وهي مؤسسة خيرية تُعنى بمكافحة إساءة استخدام المواد المخدرة مقرها في مانشستر الكبرى، وقد شغلت مناصب في مجالس إدارة مؤسسات متنوعة، من مدارس إلى مؤسسات خيرية محلية، بالإضافة إلى مؤسسات تُعنى بالتعليم القائم على الأدلة. كما مثّلت المرحلة الثانوية في مجلس حماية الأطفال في روتشديل، وفي مجال حماية الأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة. تهتم جانيس بشكل خاص بمجالات الدمج والحماية والتعليم الخاص، وتسعى جاهدةً لضمان قيام المدارس ببذل قصارى جهدها لتطوير أفضل الممارسات في هذا المجال.

سارة غرين

شغلت سارة منصب أخصائية المحتوى لمحو الأمية في مؤسسة دعم التعليم خلال الفترة 2021-2022، ولا تزال تعمل معهم عن كثب بصفتها خريجة. إلى جانب ذلك، تشغل سارة منصب مديرة محو الأمية في مؤسسة بروسبير ليرنينج ترست في جنوب إنجلترا.
وهي مستشارة متخصصة في مجال محو الأمية في مانشستر، تقدم التدريب والدعم للمدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية. كما أنها قائدة وطنية في مجال مهارات التحدث لدى منظمة Voice21، وزميلة في صندوق تطوير المعلمين (TDT)، وقائدة في مجال الأدلة في التعليم (ELE) في كلية مانشستر لأبحاث الاتصالات.
خلال مسيرتها المهنية التي امتدت لتسعة عشر عامًا في مجال التعليم، درّست سارة اللغة الإنجليزية في مدارس مختلفة في تامسايد وستوكبورت ومانشستر، ولديها خبرة واسعة في المناصب القيادية المتوسطة والعليا. وفي إطار دورها القائم على الثقة، تقدم سارة الدعم القيادي بين المدارس، متخصصةً في التطوير المهني المستمر القائم على الأدلة، وتطوير المناهج الدراسية.
في مجال اللغة الإنجليزية والتعليم والتعلم على مستوى المدرسة بأكملها، مع التركيز على تحسين مهارات القراءة والكتابة والتحدث وتوفير الدعم لذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة. كما عملت مع مؤسسة "ون إديوكيشن" في مانشستر على مدار العامين الماضيين للمشاركة في تطوير إطار عمل جائزة القراءة للمرحلة الثانوية الجديد.

دانييل بارو

دانييل عضو مؤسس في مجلس أمناء GMAT. وهي قائدة متمرسة تتمتع بثروة من المعرفة والخبرة في مجال التعليم. تشغل منصب شريكة أعمال تعليمية، وتتولى مسؤولية سياسات الموارد البشرية والتوظيف في مجلس مدينة مانشستر.

David lea

David began his career as a Management Trainee with NatWest International Division. Following this, David spent 15 years in the print industry ultimately managing the design and print for brands which included Marks and Spencer and Pepsico. In addition, David was employed at British Airways where he was responsible for developing partnerships with some of the UK's leading brands and he was also employed at Libra Europe, where he supported some of the UK's major retailers transform their business.
Most recently, David was employed as the Commercial Director at Manchester City Council working across the organisation to develop a commercial culture that would allow the council to continue to deliver all of its essential services against a backdrop of very significant funding cuts. David is currently a non-Executive Director for MediaCo Group.
For many years, David volunteered as a Regulation 33 Visitor for Manchester City Council's Looked after Children's homes. David is the Chair of the Board of Directors at his local golf club.

I was appointed as Finance Governor in October 2020. Being extremely passionate about making positive impact by helping people to develop, becoming a Finance Governor at MCPA provides me an opportunity to contribute relevant skills and value to MCPA's governing board.
I am a Director at Mazars providing audit service large and listed corporates in diverse industries, with relevant experiences in Financial Planning and Reporting, Corporate Strategy and Restructuring.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time volunteering, watching football (I'm a big fan of Manchester United), playing billiards and learning to play new musical instruments.

I have worked within local government for more than 20 years primarily for Manchester City Council. I have an extensive understanding of local government finance and the environment in which the Council operates. My role as a workforce finance specialist has allowed me to enjoy a rewarding career at the Council steadily increasing my influence in relation to workforce and financial budgeting, planning and reporting. My current role encompasses responsibilities that cross traditional Finance and HR boundaries and allows me to influence issues about which I am passionate including work on gender and ethnicity pay gaps and the Manchester Living Wage. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and watching Manchester United and Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The role of Trustee allows me to use all my experience and passion to help contribute towards improving the life chances of all our young people whilst ensuring that we value our differences and treat people fairly.

LISA DYSCH

With over 25 years in the property industry, I have extensive experience across the private rental sector as a landlord, agent and tenant. In my previous roles with Allsop Ltd and The
Co-operative Group, I worked closely with a breadth of customers including central and local government, corporate and individual landlords, investors, receivers and social housing providers. For the past ten years, I have been part of the Contract Leadership team on the asylum accommodation contract for Serco, firstly as Property Director and more recently as ContractSupport Director.
As part of the Contract leadership team, I am responsible and accountable for developing and delivering the strategic vision across the whole contract. As a leader, I expect and encourage high standards of service delivery with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and suppliers, whilst ensuring full compliance within the appropriate legal and regulatory frameworks. My experience and knowledge of the residential property landscape and the challenges both tenants and landlords face are well-placed in my position on the GMAC families and community committee. Outside of work, I enjoy any kind of live music; spending time outdoors and trying to learn to draw.

Tasneem Said

Tasneem is a qualified solicitor with nearly 20 years’ experience. In her current role at Serco, Tasneem works in a commercial and legal capacity, advising on complex and politically sensitive matters, including immigration and detention. Prior to joining Serco, Tasneem worked as an in-house solicitor for a couple of organisations, having begun her career training and practising at leading national and international law firms where she developed a strong foundation in legal practice. Tasneem has served as a governor at Greater Manchester Academy Trust (GMAT) for several years, contributing to strategic decision-making and supporting the school’s improvement journey. During this time, Tasneem has played an active role in strengthening governance processes, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, and championing inclusive education—particularly for pupils with SEND. Her values of integrity, accountability, and equality strongly align with GMAT’s ethos of providing high-quality learning opportunities for all pupils and fostering an environment where every child can thrive. As a parent of two children in primary and secondary education, one of whom has SEND needs, Tasneem brings valuable insight into the challenges faced by families and schools. Outside of work and family commitments, Tasneem enjoys dining out, socialising, and walking when time allows.
